The troubleshooting of inductors is relatively easy compared to other electronic components. Inductor failure phenomenon The main failure of inductors is that the coil is burnt to open circuit or the wire of the coil is too thin and the wire is broken at the pin. When the inductors in different circuits have open coil failures, they will show up as different failure phenomena, mainly in the following situations.

(1) The coil in the power supply circuit is prone to failure due to too much current. It may be that the filter inductor first heats up and burns into an open circuit when it is severe. At this time, the voltage output circuit of the power supply will be open, and the fault appears as no DC voltage. Output.

(2) After the coils in other small-signal circuits are open, they generally show no signal output.

(3) Some fine-tuning coils may also cause loose cores.
