What is the structure of the integrated inductor?
It is reported that an integrally formed inductor is an element that can convert electrical energy into magnetic energy and store it. The structure of the inductor is similar to a transformer, but there is only one winding. The inductor has a certain inductance, it only hinders the change of current. If the inductor is in a state where no current passes, it will try to prevent current from flowing through it when the circuit is turned on; if the inductor is in a state where current is passed, it will try to keep the current unchanged when the circuit is disconnected. Inductors are also called chokes, reactors, and dynamic reactors.
Good material characteristics and special design make the integrated inductor structure more stable and lower impedance, so it has higher efficiency; the development of power supply technology also promotes the development of inductors: industrial power supplies, power supplies, etc. The volume is getting smaller and smaller, the power is getting bigger and bigger, and the electronic components are also developing toward small size and high power.
The integrated inductors of chip inductor manufacturers are widely used in the following three areas:
1. The integrated inductor can be used as a high-performance, space-saving and energy-saving solution for voltage regulation modules (VRM) and DC / DC converter applications.
2. Suitable for high-temperature commercial applications, including next-generation mobile devices, notebook computers, desktop computers, servers, graphics cards, portable game consoles, personal navigation systems, and personal multimedia devices, low-height, high-current power supply and load points ( POL) converter, distributed power system and field programmable gate array (FPGA).
3. Power supply, high-speed PC graphics card / CGA module, differential mode filter inductor, communication network, automotive electronics, consumer electronics, etc.
