High-frequency transformers have been widely used in many fields, such as medical equipment, LED drive circuits, electric vehicles, solar energy, military products, aerospace equipment, automotive electronics, industrial equipment, switching power supplies, communication equipment, household appliances, digital products, rectifiers, computer power supplies, power adapters and more. How do we maintain it in the process of using?

The maintenance steps for high-frequency transformer
1. Switching in reserve transformer, disconnect the low-voltage side circuit breaker of the transformer, remove the operation insurance of the holding power supply, and hang the “stop closing” sign at the switch handle.
2. Disconnect and repair the circuit breaker on the high voltage side of the transformer, close the grounding switch, and after fully discharging for the transformer, lock the high voltage cabinet and hang the “stop closing” sign at the switch handle.
3. Dry high-frequency transformer maintenance, firstly, clean the porcelain sleeve and shell, and then check the shell, gasket, porcelain casing.
4.Check whether the contact surface of the generatrix is kept clean. The contact surface should be removed from the oxide layer and coated with electric compound grease.
5.Check whether the grounding of the transformer is good, whether the ground wire is corroded, and the corroded parts should be replaced.
6. Tighten the lead terminals, pins, grounding screws, and connecting busbar screws. Any screw found to be loose or damaged shall be replaced instantly
7. Clean the dust around the transformer and the accessories, and check whether the fire protection facilities and ventilation system are good.
8. Disconnect the grounding switch on the high voltage side, lock the high voltage switch, and measure the insulation resistance with a 2500V shaker. And compared with the measured value of the transformer before leaving the factory, the insulation resistance should not be lower than 70% of the original data at the factory. If it fails, it should be reported to the disposal in time.
9.Close the grounding switch on the high voltage side again and let the transformer discharge.
10.Check the transformer room and transformer for any remaining tools and evacuate these tools from the site.
11. Connect the low-voltage side circuit breaker to hold the power supply operation insurance, and re-attach the “stop closing” sign to prevent reverse power transmission to the transformer.
12. Disconnect the high-voltage side grounding switch and re-examine the control line of the transformer and the low-voltage side again. Then close the high-voltage side circuit breaker of the transformer and let the transformer test run to remove the high-voltage side marking plate.
13, Record the detailed maintenance test.
