The selection of the high frequency transformer core and the determination of the working point?
From the performance requirements of the transformer, it is known that the traditional thin-band silicon steel has difficulty meeting the design requirements of the transformer in terms of frequency and use environment. The material of the core inductor is only from permalloy, ferrite material, cobalt-based amorphous alloy and ultrafine crystal.
Consider several materials in the alloy. The permalloy and cobalt-based amorphous state are high in price, which is about several times that of the ferrite material, and the saturation magnetic induction intensity Bs is not high, and the processing process is complicated.
Considering that the power output power we require is not high, about 30W, so we compare the performance comparison of several materials, we still choose the saturation magnetic induction Bs is higher, the temperature stability is good, the price is low, the processing is convenient, the cost is lower. The Zn-Mn ferrite material was selected and used as the frame of the EI28 to wind the pulse transformer in this example.
Safety transformer manufacturers introduce high-frequency transformers to complete three functions: power transmission, voltage conversion and insulation isolation, power transmission in two ways:One is the transmission mode of the transformer power. The electric jade added to the original winding generates a magnetic flux change in the magnetic core to induce a voltage in the secondary winding, so that the electric power is transmitted from the primary side to the secondary side.
Another type is that in the power transmission process, the magnetic core is divided into two working modes: magnetic flux single direction change and bidirectional change.
