The rated current ratio is equal to the reciprocal of the turns ratio.
The current transformer utilizes the principle of electromagnetic induction. The changing magnetic field generated by the primary winding excites the electromotive force and current in the secondary winding to realize energy transfer or current signal transmission or voltage signal transmission.
1. if it is an ideal current transformer,
The primary winding and the secondary winding have the same magnetic flux, the input power is equal to the output power, and the voltage ratio is equal to the turns ratio. According to P=UI, the current ratio is equal to the reciprocal of the turns ratio;
2. if it is not an ideal transformer, assume that the magnetic flux ratio of the primary winding and the secondary winding is A,Energy is transmitted by the magnetic field. Then the ratio of input power to output power is A, and the ratio of input voltage to output voltage is A multiplied by the turns ratio.
Similarly, according to P = UI, it is obtained that the primary winding current is a reciprocal of the turns ratio than the secondary winding current.
In summary, the rated current ratio is equal to the reciprocal of the turns ratio.
