How does the magnetic ring interfere with the signal?

1.Principle of magnetic ring suppression signal

The magnetic ring is an anti-interference electronic component made of ferrite material. Its function is to suppress high-frequency interference signals. Therefore, it is like a low-pass filter, allows signals below the cut-off frequency to pass, and suppresses high-frequency signals absorption. In fact, its suppression principle is reflected by the impedance characteristics. As shown in the figure below, different magnetic rings have different impedance characteristics at different frequencies. As the frequency increases, the impedance continues to increase.

2. The source and harm of interference signal

As long as it is a signal, it will be more or less doped with some unnecessary signals, otherwise there is no so-called filter to filter out excess signals. For many electronic products, in addition to their own interference signals, there will also be interference noise from the outside world, such as other equipment, power grids, etc. Especially the higher the frequency, the easier this noise will be emitted. This is like an antenna effect, so the original signal will receive transmissions from other signals, causing stroboscopic, no start, crash, various other abnormal phenomena, etc. For some lines, the shielded wire method is adopted, so no other signal interference will be generated, but in some circuits, a magnetic ring is added to make the useful signals pass smoothly, and the consumption of unnecessary signals is suppressed.
