What do you know about the effect of resistance on sound?
Generally, the resistance used for gall machine can be divided into metal film resistance, carbon film resistance, carbon resistance, wire wound resistance and so on.
1. Metal film resistance
It has the characteristics of low noise, high temperature resistance, small volume, high stability and precision. The disadvantage is that the price is higher than the carbon film resistance.
2. Carbon film resistance
The stability is relatively high and the noise is relatively low, but on the quality, it is still worse than the metal film resistance, but it is cheaper than the metal film resistance, so this kind of resistance is widely used in various electronic circuits, including the cholic circuit.
3. Carbon resistance
It is the earliest resistor produced. Because of its poor resistance stability, high noise and temperature coefficient, it has long been replaced by metal film resistance and carbon film resistance.
4. Winding resistance
It is wound on the ring framework with resistance wire, which has high stability and precision. However, due to its large volume, it is generally only used in high-power places, such as the power supply circuit of the gall machine.
Nowadays, most of the enthusiasts use the "Cultural Revolution" period production, such as cheap and good domestic red cannon metal film resistor. For good economic conditions, the Dale metal film resistor or holco resistor in the United States is used. In fact, the metal film resistor is used much, and the sound will become hard and unpleasant. However, the green carbon film resistor produced by some military factories during the "Cultural Revolution" has a more smooth and mellow sound. These carbon film resistors are non-magnetic, low noise and cheap. They can be compared with the imported used products and are the first choice of the courage machine.
5. Potentiometer
It is the only way of audio signal, it will directly affect the sound quality, now people mostly use Japanese Alps potentiometer.
