Classification of Hall sensors

1) Linear Hall sensor:it is composed of Hall element, linear amplifier and emitter follower, it outputs analog signal.

2) Switch-type Hall sensor : it is composed of a voltage regulator, a Hall element, a differential amplifier, a Schmitt trigger and an output stage, and it outputs a digital signal.

Advantages of Hall sensor

1) High accuracy: The accuracy is better than 1% in the working temperature zone, which is suitable for any waveform measurement; the Hall switch device has no contact, no wear, clear output waveform, no jitter, no rebound, and position repeat accuracy High (up to μm level).

2) Wide bandwidth: The rise time of the current sensor with high bandwidth can be less than 1μs; however, the voltage sensor has a narrow bandwidth, generally within 15kHz, the rise time of the 6400Vrms high voltage voltage sensor is about 500uS, and the bandwidth is about 700Hz.

3) Wide measurement range: current measurement can reach 50KA, voltage measurement can reach 6400V.

4) Firm structure, small size, light weight, long service life, easy installation, low power consumption, high frequency (up to 1MHZ), vibration resistance, and no fear of pollution or corrosion by dust, oil, water vapor and salt spray.
