Difference between solid inductance coil and core inductance coil

It has better characteristics when using skeleton or without skeleton. The Q value is high (up to 150-400), and the stability is also high. Single-layer close-wound air-core coil is suitable for short-wave and medium-wave circuits, generally using skeleton.

4. The core coil can also be wound without the skeleton for the single layer with thick wire and small coil diameter. Generally, the inductance of single-layer densely wound hollow wire is not large, its Q value can reach 150-250, and it has high stability. Multilayer hollow inductance coil can obtain larger inductance, but it has larger volume and larger distributed capacitance. According to their differences, we can choose what we need better.
