Definition and function of coupling transformer
Coupling transformer refers to the transformer commonly used as inter pole coupling in radio lines. For example, the mid cycle, input transformer and output transformer of radio belong to this category. Coupling transformer has many functions. It can also be used to achieve impedance matching. In physics, the so-called coupling refers to the phenomenon that two or more systems or two forms of motion interact with each other through various interactions, for example, the mutual inductance between two coils is coupled through magnetic field.
Function of coupling transformer
(1) The signal of voltage amplification is transmitted to the power amplifier stage.
(2) It has the function of inverted phase.
(3) It has the function of impedance matching between the excitation stage and the power stage.
(4) With C102, it can correct the waveform and phase.
(5) The utility model has the function of separating the DC power supply of the voltage amplification stage from the power supply of the power amplifier stage.
By using the central tap of the secondary winding of the coupling transformer, the base of T121 and T122 are respectively connected to the two halves of the secondary winding, so that the base of the two transistors can receive the signal with opposite phase, so as to achieve the function of phase separation. The purpose of impedance transformation with coupling transformer is to make the power amplification stage obtain larger power from the voltage amplification stage.
