The ferrite core is made of a dense homogeneous ceramic structure of a non-metallic magnetic material and has a low coercive force, also known as a soft ferrite. The invention and practical application of soft ferrite materials have been used for half a century. Due to its high magnetic permeability, high electrical resistivity, low loss and wear resistance of ceramics, electron beam deflection coils and retrace in television sets. Transformers, radio chokes, mid-cycle transformers, inductors, switching power supplies, communication equipment, filters, computers, electronic ballasts, etc. are widely used.

Ferrite cores

The ferrite core is mainly used as a high-frequency transformer (such as a switching power supply, a line output transformer, etc.), a high-frequency magnetic ring (for anti-interference), etc., to increase the magnetic permeability and improve the quality factor of the inductor. Ferrites have the advantages of high magnetic permeability, high permeability, good temperature characteristics, low attenuation, and high resistance and low eddy current loss over a wide frequency range. Therefore, ferrite has become a non-metallic magnetic material widely used in the field of high-frequency weak electricity. These material properties make ferrite an ideal material for applications such as high frequency transformers, broadband transformers, tunable inductors and other high frequency circuits from 10 kHz to 50 MHz.

With the increasing use of electronic technology, especially the popularity of digital circuits and switching power supplies, electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues are becoming more and more important. Countries around the world are increasingly adopting standards for anti-electromagnetic interference performance of electronic instruments and measuring equipment. Soft ferrite-based EMI magnetic components are rapidly evolving and have a wide variety of products.
